Inkblot Writing Contest
Inkblot Writing Contest is open to any Maine students in Grades 4 through 12 in the 2023-2024 school year. Students are warmly invited to participate in Fiction and Poetry categories for each of the following age groups - Grades 4 - 5, Grades 6 - 8, Grades 9 - 12.
Submissions will be accepted between October 1 - 15.

AWARDS Reception
A public reception celebrating all entrants and awarding prizes will be held on Thurs, November 16 at 6pm at Maine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport.
Judges
For students in grades 9 - 12, Portland Poet Laureate Maya Williams will judge the poetry submissions. Topsham librarian and short story writer Emma Gibbon will judge the fiction section. For students in grades 4 - 8, local high school students will judge the poetry and fiction categories.
