Join us for a cherished tradition as students share their learning, friendships, and school experiences with grandparents and guests.
Grandparents Day is a Maine Coast Waldorf School celebration that welcomes grandparents and guests to experience a morning of Waldorf education and step into our classrooms with our students. This day is an opportunity to express our gratitude to the grandparent community that does so much to support our families and school.

Guest Registration
We ask that all attendees, including parents and guardians, register by Friday, October 9. Please click the below for our guest registration.
Grandparents Day is Friday, October 23 from 9:30 am–11:45 am at Maine Coast Waldorf School.
What to Expect
Grandparents Day is the morning of Friday, October 23, 2026. We will begin the celebration with a Welcome Reception, followed by a stage program featuring Grades 2–12. Guests will then be guided throughout campus to visit classrooms, meet faculty and staff, and experience the joy of learning at Maine Coast Waldorf School.
Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and Grade 1 do not participate in the stage program but guests of these students are encouraged to attend. Early Childhood and first grade warmly welcomes guests during the classroom visits.
Grandparents Day Overview
9:30 am: Welcome reception with light refreshments in the Community Hall
10–11 am: Program featuring Grades 2 through 12—a beautiful glimpse of the arc of Waldorf education
11–11:45 am: Classroom visits
12 pm: All students dismissed
