Parent-child classes with a Waldorf foundation

Join Ms. Rebecca, a seasoned Waldorf Teacher, in the Fireside Room at Maine Coast Waldorf School, for a supportive, nurturing and educational environment for both child and caregiver. Classes meet once per week for eight weeks.

Our autumn session begins the week of September 17, 2024. Our spring session begins the week of April 1, 2025. Explore our Sweet Pea and Marigold groups, and register below. Please scroll down for the registration form.

Sweet Peas (Birth - 12 months)

We will learn how to observe and meet a baby’s needs during this tender developmental stage. We’ll also focus on nurturing the caregiver through connection, self-care, and how to create a home life that supports healthy and joyful growth.

Spring Session

Meeting days: Thursdays beginning April 3 and ending May 29
Session Time: 11 am - 12 pm
Scheduling Notes: There is no session on Thursday, April 24

Enrollment

The Sweet Pea serves families with infants from birth to 12 months. The registration fee is $240 for each eight week session. Enrollment is based on the age of the child on September 1.

Marigolds: Mixed Age Play Group (12 months - 3.5 years)

Meet other caregivers and children in a weekly class filled with songs, finger games, and play. Rhythm, creative play, and a warm environment will support the Marigold children and their caregivers. Experience a Waldorf environment and connect over parenting topics, tea, crafts, and a shared simple snack.

Autumn Session

Meeting Days: Choose between our Tuesday and Wednesday groups. Sessions begin the week of September 16 and conclude the week of November 4.
Session Time: 9:30 - 11 am

Spring Session

Meeting Days: Choose between our Tuesday and Wednesday groups. Sessions begin the week of March 31 and conclude the week of May 26.
Session Time: 9:30 - 11 am
Scheduling Notes: The Tuesday group does not meet meet on April 22. The Wednesday group does not meet on April 23.

Enrollment

This class is limited to six participants. The registration fee is $270 for each 8 week session. The Marigold group serves families with children from 12 months to 3.5 years of age. Enrollment is based on the age of the child on September 1.

Registration

Please fill out the registration form below. Once your registration is received, Maine Coast Waldorf School will issue an invoice for online payment of your registration fee.

Spaces are limited to provide an intimate environment. There is a limit of 8 families per Sweet Peas session and 6 families per Marigold session. Classes fill quickly and registrations are accepted first come/first served based on the submission of your form and payment. You will be notified if your desired class is full.

Please register for only one class per session per age group. If you have more than one child, please register each child separately. We also ask that you have one caregiver per child and caregivers retain full responsibility for their children.
