Tiered Tuition
We are committed to creating a school community that reflects the economic diversity of Maine. Tiered Tuition is available to families with children entering Early Childhood (5 days) through Grade 12. Families who are unable to afford the full cost of a Maine Coast Waldorf School education are encouraged to apply for a tuition adjustment to match their ability to contribute to the school. Then, through a process that considers a family’s income and assets, the school makes a final determination about the tuition that is appropriate based upon the family’s financial means. Tuition Payment Plans
In addition to tiered tuition, we also offer the following tuition payment plans.
Plan A
Paid annually: 100% due by June 1st.
Plan B
Paid semi-annually: 50% by June 1st and 50% November 1st
Plan C
Paid in 9 monthly installments, June through February
Tuition Insurance Plan
The School offers parents the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan as a means to insure their financial obligation under the terms of Maine Coast Waldorf's Enrollment Contract. Parents who do not pay the total tuition charges by June 1st under the Annual payment plan must participate in the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan or present evidence of having secured comparable insurance coverage elsewhere.
