This July (into early August) we are pleased to offer four weeks of joyful outdoor play in our beautiful orchard garden playgrounds and surrounding forests. Campers will enjoy fort and fairy-house building, woods walks and water play, crafts and stories, picnics and shady rests. A wholesome snack is provided each day. Our camps are run under the caring supervision of experienced Maine Coast Waldorf School assistants.

Circus Camp (ages 9-12)

Come experience the circus arts of clowning, juggling, tightrope walking, mime and more!

Our exciting 2018 Circus Camp will be led by Maine Coast Waldorf School Movement teacher John Saccone. He will be assisted by the brother and sister team of Emma and Oscar Tieman, both MCWS students and performers with the Portland Youth Circus.

John Saccone has been the Movement teacher at Maine Coast Waldorf School for the past 23 years. He has toured with master mime Tony Montanaro and his Celebration Theater Ensemble. He performs with his wife Jackie Reifer (http://reiferandsaccone.com/) and is a guest artist with the Portland Ballet Company. John also teaches circus arts at Cirque-Eze, an overnight camp for teenagers, and at Cirque-Kids, a circus for under-served youth, all at the Spacial Dynamics Institute.
