For the first time BOTH Maine Coast Waldorf High School girls and boys are Class C Regional Cross Country Champs! This is the fourth consecutive regional championship for the boys, and the first in seven years for the girls. Additional congratulations go to junior Olivia Reynolds, who successfully defended her individual regional title.
On a practically perfect day, the Maine Coast Waldorf runners executed the Class C Regional race almost perfectly. Cool temperatures, light breezes, sunny skies, the smell of fallen leaves, and a relatively dry course all set the stage for a fast day at Twin Brook in Cumberland. Demonstrating their strength as a team, both the girls and boys put together masterful performances and made school history. The boys crammed five runners into the top ten. On this historic day, the coaching staff ran out of superlatives.
