Reading the Landscape of our Fields and Forests

Tom Wessels, forest ecologist, author, and teacher, led 30 participants on a fascinating tour of MCWS’s woods and fields on Saturday, September . By “reading the landscape” and sharing his deep knowledge about complex ecosystems, Tom pointed out numerous examples of how ecological diversity and mutual beneficial relationships support sustainable and resilient systems.

It was inspiring to witness how much learning happens through the close observation and study of nature. Thank you to The Resilience Hub and Tom Wessels for this wonderful workshop.
