The 5th Annual All Dads Bonfire on Friday, November 16th was hot and snowy. More than 30 dads post-holed through the snow to the farthest reaches of the back field to set the Thanksgiving holiday vacation alight with massive fire and fun.
We could not have pulled it off without the help of MCWS Caretaker (and dad) Brian Kessler. Brian thought ahead, collecting debris and building a burn pile over the past 12 months. No one camped out this year, but sausages were grilled, music was played and a great time was had by all. And, of course, we burned a lot of stuff.
Thanks to everyone who brought this fiery gathering to life. You made the effort to visit with old friends and welcome new dads.
Next year? If you can imagine it, MORE fire and fun.
