Coffee House Captivates

Despite snow days limiting rehearsal time, last week’s annual High School Coffee House was a huge success, both in terms of fund-raising and “fun-raising.”  Many thanks to co-hosts Maria Barton and Rodrigo Cortes-Estevez for their light-hearted “Wald-kanda” skits, to the poets, singers, musicians, circus artists and dancers who shared their talents, and to the many teachers and parents who baked, set up and cleaned up.  Special thanks to alumnus Maxime Rumiel who volunteered his time to work the lights, to Peter Glass for last-minute sound assistance, to Chris Chasse and Nancy Roderick, who gave up an instrumental class to help rehearse students, and to Madame Whittlesey, Johanna Flath, David Sloan and David Barham for their behind-the-scenes organizing.
