Interested in Learning about Permaculture? 

This past weekend at MCWS, Permaculture Design Certification Course participants inoculated logs with shiitake mushrooms, learned how to propagate trees and shrubs, designed polycultures, and explored the tastes and habits of native perennial fruits, nuts and veggies.  This 6-month course has provided a vast amount of information and resources, complemented by experiential activities, thought-provoking conversations, shared meals, and lots of laughter, inspiration and bonding with wonderful people.

If you’re interested in learning about permaculture, sign up for one of these opportunities at MCWS:

  • A 2-day Intro to Permaculture course being offered at MCWS on Saturday, March 17 and Saturday, March 24.  Learn more and sign up here. 
  • Food Forest Installation Workshop on Saturday, May 12, 9 am – 2pm at MCWS (no fee for MCWS families). Adults and children welcome – we will be installing a food forest here!
