What a day it was on Saturday, October 28th at Twin Brook, where Maine Coast Waldorf’s running team finished off the season in fine form at the Class C Cross Country State Championships. The Class C girls had the first race of the day, and with the fastest teams from the northern region running in this race, there was tough competition. After 3.1 miles, Olivia Reynolds finished first, Olivia Skillings fifth, and the girls team came in fourth, slightly behind Orono, Maranacook and George Stevens.
The boys were up next and they landed a solid second place team finish (for the second year in a row) behind winner Orono, with senior Nick Neveu finishing sixth in his final high school race.
Congrats to all the runners on a wonderful season and a big thank you to everyone who came out and supported the runners on Saturday and throughout the season.
