Find a plaid outfit, and get your sitters – Puttin’ on the Plaid Dance Party and Silent Auction is Saturday, April 8th6:30-9:30 pm in the Community Hall. Doors open at 6PM! This event supports our tiered tuition program – which makes it possible for over 40% of our families to afford this education. It’s sure to be a great evening – you won’t want to miss the fun!

Donate to the Silent Auction: Click here to complete an Auction Donation Form. The deadline for auction items is today, Tuesday, March 28th, but items will be accepted later. Please submit the auction donation form asap or contact Mary Martin or Lynne Espy with your information. Donated items and services are very much appreciated!

New This Year – An Online Auction Bidding Site! The online bidding site is ready! For an opportunity to bid online prior to the auction or just to see the many wonderful items that are available (items are added every day).  Click here
This opportunity will be available from March 28th through 8 AM April 7th. We will then close out the online bidding and download all the bids at that time to continue the bidding process when doors open on Saturday, April 8th at 6PM.

Merri-Happenings:  We have a wonderful selection of parties and outing for you. You don’t bid on these, just sign your name and pay – thanks to the generosity of the hosts, the proceeds support Tiered Tuition. These Happenings are open to everyone in our community, including alumni families, alumni students, parents, grandparents, your friends and family.  The final details are still being set, but descriptions will be coming soon. You will want to sign up for at least a couple of these fabulous events:

  • Yin Yoga and Essential Oils – Lucretia Woodruff and Cary Ouelette
  • Midwestern Fun – The Lukis, Bloch, Espy and Sloan families
  • Cruise to the Course – John and Lauren Manganello
  • Bourbon Tasting Party – Phil Kaplan and Tay Veitch
  • One more that is just too good to mention yet.

Sign up to work a shift the night of the auction or during set-up Friday, April 7th:  We need help at the auction or during set-up. If every family pitches in by working one shift, the event will run smoothly. Please sign up now to help: www.SignUpGenius.

Send in your RSVP:  If you have not received an invitation in the mail, please let us know!  If the ticket price is going to keep you from coming, sponsorship tickets are often available at a reduced price.

Bring a Friend: Encourage current Maine Coast Waldorf grandparents and friends from outside the community to come – they come for free! Just send in an RSVP for them.

Buy Cash Raffle Tickets: 5 cash raffle tickets were included in your invitation – they are $25 each or 5 for $100. In 2015 a grandparent won over $2,000 with the purchase of just one ticket.

Need a babysitter for the evening? Many Maine Coast Waldorf School students are available to babysit. Please stop by the grade school office, the EC office, or email Mary Martin, [email protected]mainecoastwaldorf.org, for that information.

Many thanks,
Mary Martin, [email protected]mainecoastwaldorf.org, 865-3900 (Ext.113)
