This year, in light of Thanksgiving quickly approaching, the Senior Class of 2017 is working in support of Freeport Community Services to organize a Food Drive. As the holidays are a particularly tough time for those struggling to put food on the table, let’s put our best foot forward in helping out our community! Any extra non-perishable food lying around the pantry is greatly appreciated. Donation bags with a list of needs will be distributed to all students this week by the Senior class, and will be collected in Merriconeag Hall following the all school assembly on Friday, November 18th.
In addition to food donations, the Senior class is also welcoming donations in the form of checks to support victims of the recent and devastating hurricane at our affiliated school in Haiti. If you feel so inclined, checks should be made out to the Maine Coast Waldorf School, with “Haiti School” in the memo line. These will be collected on Friday, November 18th along with the food.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
