The Fall Fair is Saturday, November 5th from 10 am to 2 pm. This is a scheduled school day for all students. Volunteering is encouraged and is both fun and easy so please read below to see where you can get involved!
Once again we have many enthusiastic activity organizers, but we are looking for a few more! There are activities associated with each class and an Activity Leader from that class will be working closely with the Class Coordinators. They will communicate needs and expectations to the parents in each of the classes. This will help each parent pinpoint the activity where they can sign up for a volunteer shift. The volunteer sign-up form will be uploaded soon!
Currently, the following classes are looking for co-leads for their activity:
1st grade: Younger Children’s Outside Games, contact Lori Sibunruang
2nd Grade: Younger Children’s Outside Games, contact Carol Will
3rd Grade: Older Children’s Outside Games, contact Carol Will
5th Grade: Falling Leaves Café, Contact Justina Benton
6th Grade: Gently Used Outerwear, contact Christine Byrne or Michelle Gordon
7th Grade: Gently Used Outerwear, contact Dana Anderson
8th Grade: Trash & Recycling: contact Susan Wallace
High School: Rudolf’s Diner, contact Jeff O’Brien
If you have any time to offer and can help with your class activity, please email the above listed contact.
At the Fall Fair activities for children do require a $10.00 bracelet. These activities include: Young Children’s Outdoor Games, Older Children’s Outdoor games, Indoor Crafts, Handwork Crafts, and Candle Dipping.
There will be various food vendors, some mentioned in the list above as well as French crepes, German sausage, fresh baked goods and Wicked Joe Coffee in the Falling Leaves Café. Also offered is the Gently Used Outerwear for sale for kids of all ages, school related items in the School Store that include Parent Made Crafts for sale and puppet shows in the Early Childhood building, but get your tickets in the 1-4 building first!
Fair Day (November 5th) is also an Admission Open House so please reach out to anyone who may be interested in learning more about our programs while their children enjoy all the fair festivities.
Bring A Friend! Help us spread the word about Maine Coast Waldorf and invite them to this wonderful event!
