Maine Coast’s high school is currently situated at Pineland Farms, in New Gloucester, Maine, a 15-minute drive from the Desert Road campus in Freeport. There is bus service from that campus to Pineland which is centrally located between Maine's two largest metropolitan centers, Portland and Lewiston, and is just five minutes from the Maine Turnpike.
A new state-of-the-art high school building will open fall of 2017 on a 6-acre parcel adjacent to the grade school off Desert Road, just a couple of minutes from Interstate 295. The building will support the high school’s increasing enrollment and the vision to bring the entire student body together on one campus. Briburn of Portland designed the new high school. It is a net zero energy building and will be constructed using sustainable materials and methods. Construction of the new building began fall 2016.
